The AR50-05 is a portable case designed for the dissemination of accurate time and frequency (TOD – Time of Day), particularly in environments affected by GPS jamming or spoofing. This portable unit includes a GPS-disciplined Rubidium Atomic Clock, a backup battery, a ruggedised tablet, and a set of auxiliary cables for signal dissemination. It loads precise time and frequency from an external source, maintains synchronisation while in transit, and accurately transmits this data to a destination clock.

The AR50-05 operates with both 110/220 VAC and 12/28 VDC power sources and is designed for easy use by military personnel or other users with minimal training. The ruggedised tablet ensures simple, intuitive operation, while the rechargeable battery allows the unit to be transported in a vehicle, maintaining power and functionality in the field. Additionally, multiple AR50-05 units can be stored and synchronised in the DS5000 Docking Station, which is specifically designed for this purpose.
