The AR133-03 is a ruggedized variant of the AR133 Rubidium Frequency Standard, specifically engineered for demanding airborne applications. Designed to perform in extreme environments, the AR133-03 features a built-in vibration isolator that ensures exceptional frequency stability and accuracy even under significant vibration, such as those encountered on airborne platforms. The unit is capable of operating reliably at vibration levels up to 9 g RMS and can withstand non-operational vibrations of up to 17 g RMS.
The AR133-03 is optimized for fast warm-up times and can be disciplined to an external 1PPS source, such as GPS/GNSS or other timing systems. As one of the smallest and highest-performing disciplined rubidium frequency standards on the market, it combines compact design with robust functionality.
The AR133 family of oscillators utilizes a proprietary Digital Frequency Lock Loop (DFLL) architecture. This advanced system employs a high-performance crystal oscillator locked to the rubidium atomic line, managed by an embedded microprocessor and a patented algorithm. This approach enhances performance, ensuring stability and precision under challenging conditions.
